Ted Åstrand graduated from Stockholm's prestigious Academy of Musical Instruments and apprenticed under renowned luthier Jason Kostal.

Each part of the guitar is made completely by hand and with simple woodworking tools to achieve perfection both tonally and aesthetically. Over 200 hours are spent working on each instrument. The instrument is built during a period of 3-4 months using only the best materials available, and no part of the process is rushed. Ted is a one man shop by choice, which means that he can focus on creating instruments with the highest quality craftsmanship, tone and playability.
