TOM SANDS

Tom Sands comes from a background in Industrial design and award winning luxury furniture making. In 2015, he moved to California to train with the legendary Ervin Somogyi, combining his love of the guitar with elite level building.

He has since opened his own workshop in Yorkshire, England. Tom strives for 'hybrid vigour' as he combines his experience as a designer and craftsman with the teachings of Master Somogyi.

“My sound is rich in Somogyi DNA, add to this a passion for innovative materials and process, surface finish and texture, with a little 'je ne sais quoi' for a guitar that is distinctly my own!”
